Registration fees

• Open Tournament:

Registration fees for the Open Tournament will benefit of a discount of about 40% if they are paid before November 15th, 2024. These fees are:

- Players who stay at the official hotel (**): free registration.

– Players who do not wish to stay at the official hotel (**):

• Adults: 89 € (59 € if paid before 11/15/2024).
• Players under 16(*): 69 € (49 € if paid before 11/15/2024).
• Players under 12(*): 59 € (39 € if paid before 11/15/2024).
• Players veterans (*): 79 € (59 € if paid before 11/15/2024).
• Players with a recognized disability: 69 € (49 € if paid before 11/15/2024).

– GMs, WGMs, and players with ELO FIDE over 2450 points: free registration.

(*) Any player born in 2008 or later shall be deemed U16. Also, any player born in 1959 or earlier shall be deemed veteran.

(**) Only players who spend at least 8 nights during the Chess Festival at the official hotel or at Sunway apartments in Sitges will benefit from the free registration or the discount, has not been invited by the Organization and only if their booking is done directly with the hotel or through the Organization of the Festival.

We have an agreement with the magazine Peón de Rey by which the inscriptions to the tournament will have a discount of € 25 and a discount of 20% on the total price of the room that each person reserves, according to availability, and always in reservations made in the Hotel Sunway Playa Golf & SPA (provided they communicate at the time of registration or reservation ). This promotion will be valid until the date before the start of the tournament, for subscribers of Peón de Rey dated prior to 11/01/2021. More information in http://www.peonderey.com/sunway/.

• Night blitz chess tournaments:

Registration fees for each of the night blitz chess tournaments must be paid no later than at 17:00 h. of the tournament’s celebration day.These fees, for each of these tournaments, are:

– Players not staying at the official hotel (**):

• Adults: 20 €.
• Players under 16 and veterans (*): 15 €.

– Players staying at the official hotel (**):

• Adults: 10 €.
• Players under 16 and veterans (*): 5 €

• Junior Blitz Chess Tournament:

The registration fee for the Junior Blitz Chess Tournament must be paid no later than at 9:00 a.m. of the tournament’s celebration day. This fee is:

– Players not staying at the official hotel (**):

• Players under 16 (*): 10 €.

– Players staying at the official hotel (**):

• Players under 16 (*): 5 €

(*) Any player born in 2008 or later shall be deemed U16. Also, any player born in 1959 or earlier shall be deemed veteran.
